The English quartet Mumford & Sons started in 2007 with making music that is somewhere between classical and folk rock. As influences they had on the one hand, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young on the other hand, Kings of Leon. Frequent occurrence in England (both on stage and on the street) Mumford & Sons quickly outgrew the London folk scene which also Noah & The Whale and Laura Marling were part.
Their Mark drays (Arcade Fire, Bjork) produced debut Sigh No More knew the band (a folk group) remarkably generate attention and CD's to sell. In the Netherlands, the band played at the Crossing Border Festival in 2009.more
