… on this," the booklet said. In that knowledge you listen just a little bit differently to this beautiful anthology of 50 years of Bowie music. Two things stand out in particular: how closely protagonist Michael C. Hall approaches his character at times and how the hits from the eighties - when the singer was more or less finished for many - remain intact. In fact: Absolute Beginners and This Is Not America, sung by Sophia Anne Caruso, are without doubt one of the highlights here. For Bowie fans, however, the second CD is especially interesting.
