The band Korn is one of the founders of nu-metal, the mix of metal and hip-hop that emerges in the late nineties and produces immensely popular bands such as Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach and Linkin Park. On the album Issues (1999) it was already clear that Korn would rather leave the rapping to the followers.
