Little has been heard of the final winners. But the five dropouts of Popstars, the English counterpart of the reality program Starmaker, joined forces and formed the group Liberty X. With great success because with Thinking It Over, Got To Have Your Love and Just A Little, the brand new English pop stars ( three girls and two boys) have three big hits to their name. The debut album Thinking It Over
… offers a somewhat predictable mix of dance, r & b and pop, but the self-confident and stylish appearance of the young talents stands out. The bar was clearly a lot higher in England than in the Netherlands. With Liberty X we have gained an unpretentious pop group, in addition to the pleasant observation that fairy tales still exist in music. (MS)more
