The American r & b ladies trio 702 had a big hit in 1999 with the single Where My Girls At, from their second album 702. The expected breakthrough did not come after that (at least not outside the United States) and nothing more was recorded for a long time. from 702. Only in 2003 will a new CD, Star, by Meelah Williams and the sisters Irish and Misha Grinstead, who took their group name from
… the 'area code' of their home town Las Vegas. Also on Star you can hear the combination of hip hop and R&B that characterizes the 'urban' music. To achieve this, the well-known tin of top producers was again opened, such as She'kspere, Buckwild, Mario Winans and of course The Neptunes, who probably delivered routine work here and made nothing special of the title track. Then songs like Let Your Hair Down, Fortunately, No Way, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah and the second Neptunes production I Still Love You are more interesting.
