… is an ode to women, which is a good reason to invite a number of guest singers. Successively sing , , , and a tune along. Alternating male and female singing can sometimes be boring, but White's voice contrasts beautifully with that of the guest singers. That contrast is actually the best in Can't Go Back Home and Wild Wolf Calling Me. The swampy landscape of Louisiana seems to give White enough inspiration for beautiful roots records. (JdD)more
