In 2002 the Haarlem live hip hop formation released its debut album Live @ Panama. The strong formation not only reached the hip hop audience but also conquered the club circuit. Main assets were the super tight live show that Relax managed to put down and the accessible songs. After two years of performance, the helm was radically changed. … left with bassist Burdell. Together they made a new record, their first studio album. At Odoor de Clochard, Relax goes a bit further with their style expansion. Actually, swinging songs like Mr Review and Mr Sleeves are most reminiscent of a quirky, Dutch version of Outkast. Also notable is the collaboration with Stuurbaard Bakkebaard in the song 1930 The Festivities, that comes out surprisingly well. And because there is also room for intimate songs like 2-Gether and Imagine Your Mom Dies and a guest appearance by Krezip singer Jacqueline Govaert, Relax clearly shows that she is one of the most inventive groups in the Netherlands.
