Gabriel Rios is from Puerto Rico but lives in Ghent, Belgium, where he settled when he got into a relationship with a Belgian girl. In 2004 his debut album Ghostboy was released, with a cheerful mix of Latin American music and Western pop. Slowly but surely, Rios became more and more popular (also because the song Broad Daylight could be heard in the film 0605 by Theo van Gogh) so that in 2005 Rios
… could be seen at almost every summer festival in the Benelux. This special festival edition of Ghostboy will be released with an extra DVD, featuring seven songs from the Palm Sessions that Rios did for the Belgian TMF, recorded in a crowded cafe. (IV)more
