The popular television talent shows Starmaker, Idols and Popstars - The Rivals got a successor in X-Factor in the 2006-2007 season. In keeping with tradition, a single was quickly released (Heartbreak Away) that, as it should be, entered the top spot in the charts. The song can be found on 10, Kips' debut album. Because of the fast tempo with which the CD had to be released, 10 is mainly filled with covers. Much of the repertoire consists of gospel songs, including Kirk Franklin and Stacie Orrico, Whitney Houston, Rose Royce and Minnie Riperton are also covered. (IV)more
