The Earth group around guitarist Dylan Carlson initially seemed destined to become nothing more than a footnote in the Seattle rock of the 1990s. This always sounds dragging and is framed with ominous drones and dark American Gothic. Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light II is the second result of an extremely fruitful fourteen-day studio session where the songs of the quartet were created while improvising.
