… the concerts were not free this time, as in 1969. The differences with that time are very large anyway. The show is set up a lot bigger and the group is no longer afraid of such a crowd. The nerves and technical problems of 1969 no longer arise. Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie have many more hits on the set list and entertain the audience like a well-oiled machine. Can they also surprise? In addition to guest appearances by a children's choir and ex-guitarist Mick Taylor - a nod to his debut at the historic concert in 1969 - there are few magical moments on these CDs.
