Frank Boeijens album Een Vermoeden Van Licht is a Gesamtkunstwerk: it is the title of a hardcover book with CD, an exhibition and theater tour. The book contains the lyrics and photos of the artworks on their way to their place in the exhibition. Thirteen artist friends responded to Boeijen's music: atmospheric poetic Dutch chansons that sing with enthusiasm the transience and transience of life.
For example a video montage by Henk Hofstede (Nits), a cartoon by Stefan Verwey, a bronze statue in synthetic resin by Renée van Leusden and a photo by Károly Effenberger. Two of the ten song texts are written by poet Renske Sinkgraven (Nachtlokaal, La Chambre des Etoiles). Together with Ton Snijders, Martin de Wagter and Rens van der Zalm, Boeijen creates a warm and intimate atmosphere full of dark tones. In his essay, Hugo Camps aptly describes Boeijen's music as 'an endless struggle with existentialism' and Boeijen deeply as a poet with related melancholy.
