'America is in my music. Each song reminds me of a different place in the country, ”said Aaron Earl Livingston. The singer does not dress up in a suit with the 'Stars & Stripes', but has lived in many different places in the US. The pastor's son was born in Los Angeles, but later also moved to Louisiana, New York, and New Jersey. He has now lived in Philadelphia for a number of years. In all
… those places he picked up something of the local music scene, and that led to his own style that is not really easy to interpret. Under the pseudonym Son Little, he plays an intriguing mix of blues, soul, rock, r & b, folk and singer / songwriter pop. He does not always choose the easiest way. So he starts this album with a bald, monotonous folk song and he completely puts one of the most catchy songs (the rousing blues song The River) away at the end of his album. Just wait and see how it ends with Son Little. The potential is there at times on this interesting debut album. (PdK)more
