This trio plays a mixture of English folk, jazz and Indian music. Each member brings their own musical baggage: Scottish folk singer-songwriter and guitarist , English jazz double bassist and Indian singer and sarangi player . One year after the well-received debut album Everything Sacred, the trio already released a second album. The album title Neuk Wight Delhi All-stars refers to their hometowns:
East Neuk of Fife, Isle of Wight and New Delhi. The music is warm and at a leisurely pace. The jazz element is mainly in the space that the members give each other when improvising over a certain melody. The self-written and traditional folk ballads, gracefully meandering Indian vocals and instrumental improvisations put the listener in a calm, dream-like mood. (SvdP)more
