… go to halls and clubs in need. Volume one is devoted entirely to rock artist and songwriter Tom Petty, who died in 2017. It needs little pleading that the diva of raw and lived-in country rock and Americana is more than capable of handling Petty's songs. Where Petty himself always kept radio-friendliness in his sound, Williams, live in the studio and with a solid band behind him, goes straight to the bottom to give new meaning to tried and tested songs like Wildflowers and A Face In The Crowd.
