American Nikki Lane rolled from a career as a fashion designer into that of a country singer. This obviously requires a dose of luck, but Lane certainly possesses a talent for songwriting as well. Her melodies are easy to listen to and she has a fine voice. This was also noticed by Dan Auerbach (
The Black Keys), who produced her second album,
All Or Nothin' (2014). Lane has now reached her fourth

Lane goes along with this effortlessly, due to the great flexibility she possesses as a singer: at times she sounds like an angry rock singer, at other times like a sweet-voiced nightingale or else as a munching country diva.
