On her second, much more pop-tinted album, Canadian singer Holly Cole only sings compositions by one of the greatest lyricists of contemporary pop music, Tom Waits. This album can certainly be called atmospheric. The smoky sounding Cole is almost exclusively accompanied on this 17 song record by pianist Aaron Davis and bassist David Piltch.
