The DVD A Thousand Days shows a registration of an unplugged concert that Trijntje Oosterhuis gave in Panama in Amsterdam. The atmosphere during the intimate concert is beautifully portrayed and Trijntje gives a good show with her band with songs from Sting, Stevie Wonder, Gershwin and of course Total Touch. The concept is of course somewhat derived from the MTV unplugged concerts, complete with
… candles and beanbags, but it still remains unique, especially because these kinds of concerts are not often given in the Netherlands. The extras consist of a short backstage movie in which Trijntje conducts the show all the way to the beanbags and a trip she made to Africa for Unicef.
