The overwhelming success of the Cuban Buena Vista Social Club has ensured that many musicians can revive their careers 'at age'. … success. In three albums - Rumba Congo (2001), Congo Life (2003) and Kinavana (2006) - this all-star band has revived the Rumba Congolaise. This DVD with video clips was released in tandem with its success. They are largely from their first album. But as good as the music is, unfortunately the clips are that bad. It remains to wait for a nice documentary, like the one about Buena Vista was made.more
