The album Piazzolla 100 Years can be listened to as a "greatest hits" of the Argentinian, performed by a quartet that has mastered these pieces to perfection for decades and has performed them countless times. With their performances, the foursome gives this repertoire all the credit it deserves. In the composer's words, creation of his music has been a battle between devils and angels: tango and classical music. Kraayenhof and his are only too happy to engage in that wonderful battle.
