Urban Dance Squad, initially intended as a band to jam in too cozy, quickly grew into a true underground sensation. The smooth way in which the group of rock, funk and rap mixed was unprecedented, certainly in the Netherlands in the late eighties. … startling. The group broke up with their debut album Mental Floss For The Globe on a small scale by the United States. At least enough to serve as a blueprint for the sound of Rage Against The Machine. Subsequent albums of the group are well worth it, but the band knows the great (and many also expected) international breakthrough eventually not manage to boxing. The group in 2000 falls apart.
