In the early 1970s pianist Monty Alexander was also regularly to be found in the German Black Forest to make recordings for MPS, the label that has been renamed from Musik Produktion Schwarzwald to Most Perfect Sound because of the release of remastered albums. Alexander shines in a mix of jazz standards, pop songs and calypsos on 6 LPs that are brought together in remastered form in this 4-CD box.
