This is another good album by jazz guitarist / singer John Pizzarelli. It really swings. And the band is great: in addition to its own trio, The Don Sebesky New York All-Star Big Band can be heard. On some songs you can also hear his dad, Bucky Pizzarelli, as accompanying guitarist. That happens right away in the opening track of the CD: Dream. This is followed by songs like Our Love Is Here To
… Stay, Honey Pie (by Lennon / McCartney), the beautiful ballad The Day I Found You, written by himself and played in trio, Kalamazoo, Little Girl and Rhythm Is Our Business. Pizzarelli plays music that is wonderful to listen to and Our Love Is Here To Stay shows swing and big-band jazz that are among the best.more
