… Top 100. A few months later, the physical product appears, wrapped in a colorful sleeve with drawings of the mentally handicapped. Although only Henk Temming, Henk Westbroek and guitarist Sander van Herk are left of the original band, the album recorded with session musicians immediately sounds familiar. This is of course due to the typical lyrics (alternately sarcastic and sentimental) of Westbroek, and the characteristic interaction between the two singers. Madness is a sympathetic project by two pedigree musicians who have long since ceased to do it for the money. (MS)more
