The theme of the artwork of the new Moss is space and that is reflected in the music. The opening track is a typical Moss song: melodic, a tad melancholic and, as usual, provided with a solid bass, Marien Dorleijn's characteristic voice and his inevitable Danelectro guitar. Then the band comes off. On She's Got A Secret the band downshifts and accelerates: rousing spacey guitar violence to a surf
… rhythm. As I Rest My Arms With Faith and New Shape are also nice and experimental. Incidentally, without the structure of the songs disappearing completely. It is proof that Moss can still find new forms after all these years and that the band is now a mature and serious son of Excelsiordino's Daryll-Ann and Johan. We Both Know The Rest Is Noise has the confidence of breakthrough album Never Be Scared / Don't Be A Hero, but is more innovative, surprising, fresher, louder and faster and is the best record Moss ever made.
