"An American treasure" is an excellent description of Tom Petty. Typically American styles like blues, rock-n'-roll, country, boogie and rock came together in his unique style. Besides, he was also a treasure of a guy according to the many people who worked with him. This collector has been put together by his loved ones: two from ( and ), producer Ryan Ulyate, his daughter Adria and wife Dana.
They picked out songs that had never been released before. Live and radio recordings, different versions, songs that remained. Yet you do not have the idea that this is an album full of leftovers. That also says something about the quality of Petty as a songwriter. (PdK)more
