David Knopfler has always been in the shadow of his 'big' brother Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) throughout his career. David Knopfler is also not a great singer and not such a gifted guitarist as his brother, but making an album at least as atmospheric as his brother's goes very well in this case. Great quiet pop songs, accompanied by good musicians such as Chris White (saxophone), Harry Bogdanovs
… (including guitar and banjo) and Kuma Harada (bass). The backing vocals of Miriam Stockley and Chris Thompson are also excellent. In short, an excellent album!more
