With Across From Midnight Joe Cocker takes revenge for the lesser album Organic. This album was a collection of acoustic covers and remakes of his old successes. On Across From Midnight Cocker is back on track again. Well-energized pop songs such as Tonight, What Do I Tell My Heart and the single N'oubliez Jamais are interspersed on this CD with typical Cocker ballads like That's All I Need To Know.
Less successful are covers of the Bob Marley classic Could You Be Loved and the Fleetwood Mac's Need Your Love So Bad. (CK)more
