Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt have been at the heart of Status Quo for over 30 years. The band started in the 1960s with psychedelic pop ("Pictures of matchstick men"), developed into a hard rock band in the 1970s ("Roll over lay down") and had more pop-oriented hits in the 1980s ("In the army now ").
