Later he made forays into hip hop and electro with just as much ease. Nowadays, the keyboard player still likes to work with musicians from all over the world. … 'the golden path to peace'. An impressive number of big names from pop, rock, soul, jazz and world music contributed to this laudable attempt at a world-fraternizing sound. Often this is done with style quotes: an African choir during John Lennon's title song Imagine, the chorus of Bob Marley's Exodus as the outro of a song by Touareg rockers Tinariwen. The songs (Don't Give Up, A Change Is Gonna Come) seem to have been selected mainly because of the optimistic message they convey. Everything performed with virtuosity and love for detail, sometimes exposing unsuspected sides of participating artists.
