Country singer Johnny Cash (1932-2003) made a comeback in 1994 with his album American Recordings, the first of a series on the label of rock producer Rick Rubin. The singer, in his late sixties, was still vital enough to take to the stage and released his last album in 2002. The tour that followed as a result of American Recordings is recorded on this DVD. … Festival on July 5, 1994, where he put on a memorable show. Classics such as Folsom Prison Blues, Ghost Riders In The Sky and Orange Blossom Special alternate with work by American Recordings.
