… single Just Out Of Reach (1960). Recording an album with only country songs was therefore no more than a logical step for the singer, who found in Buddy Miller the ideal producer. Miller, one of the key figures of today's American roots and country scene, brought Burke into contact with celebrities such as Dolly Parton, Gillian Welch, Emmylou Harris and Patty Griffin. For the first time in his career, Burke ventured into a few duets. That alone makes Nashville a special record.
