With her Confessions world tour from 2006, Madonna managed to kick the shins again. This time too it was a religious theme with which Madonna provoked. … Christ, of course, and reason for many Christian organizations to protest. In the Netherlands, where Madonna visited the Amsterdam ArenA in September, a demonstration was held by several activists. But they could not prevent the spectacle from actually going on. And it was a spectacle, according to this DVD and CD combination. Entertainment is just as important on stage for Madonna as music. The venue in London is transformed into a large dance floor, with the singer entering the stage through a giant disco ball.
