For a long time, the American band Train seemed like a one-hit fly. After Drops of Jupiter became a mega hit in 2001, we didn't hear from the guys from San Francisco for a long time. But in 2010 they surprised friend and foe by storming the international charts again with the Hey Soul Sister. This time the band apparently wanted to prevent them from disappearing from the radar for a long time and
… that is why the album California 37 is released only two years after the successful Save Me, San Francisco. Where that album leaned on Hey Soul Sister, California 37 has several songs that could become a hit just like that. Drive By may have been released a little too early to call it a summer hit, but the band still has several trumps up its sleeve. The song Bruises on which Train gets help from singer Ashley Monroe could well become the hit of 2012, but 50 Ways To Say Goodbye and Mermaid are also ideal radio records.
