Also on The Third, the siblings Durham bring the listener back to a bygone era, somewhere from the period just before the breakthrough of pop music, with swinging songs full of wind instruments and strings, somewhere between Pokey Lafarge, Nick Waterhouse and Amy Winehouse. Yet now and then some more modern influences seep through, such as in Feeling Of Wonder, that even sounds a bit funky thanks to a clavinet, or in Whiskey, that proves that the sitar and tablas are not only selected for the nice cover photo.
