There is also a political slant hidden under the thick layer of samples, beats and raps. The trio processes issues such as gun violence, Black Lives Matter and social alienation on this album. Especially with the last two songs it becomes clear that the group is once again trying to match the success of their hit Where Is The Love. Undoubtedly this is with the best of intentions, but this album has become too long, overcrowded and messy potpourri that does not always leave a pleasant scent. (JvQ)more
