After Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not (2016), Dinosaur Jr. once again plays in original lineup on Sweet It Into Space with
J Mascis,
Lou Barlow and Murph. A prolific trio, since reuniting in 2005, the band has regained their magic on several albums. The sound co-produced by
Kurt Vile on Sweep It Into Space is unmistakably Dinosaur Jr., full of rapping guitar solos, tight percussion and swinging
… melodies. Despite the disagreements the band has had over the years, you can hear that they have a strong musical chemistry between them. Even for a band that has been around for so long, Dinosaur Jr.'s sound continues to carry something of a youthful quality. (JvQ)more
