This is the first sign of Neil Finn's life after the break-up of Crowded House in 1996. That it was mainly his band can be heard on his solo CD "Try whistling this". Finn's Beatles-like songs, voice and choirs are still of the same high standard. Finn produced eight of the thirteen songs together with Marius De Vries (Madonna, Massive Attack). … inaccessible character at first hearing. Feedback guitars, strange samples, exciting strings sounds and unusual drum sounds give the music several layers, especially in "Sinner" and "Twisty bass".
