The Dutch symphonic rock group Kayak has started its second life with great success. In 1982, after ten years, the group split up to regroup at the turn of the century. … DVD under the title Merlin - Bard Of the Unseen (jkd1154). In addition to the rock opera, a second disc was added to this DVD, on which the band performed its greatest hits again. This DVD has now been re-released. Slightly older and grayer but with just as much enthusiasm Ton Scherpenzeel and his team bring harmonic guitars, bold keyboards and classical harmony vocals, as if time has stood still. Besides singer Bert Heerink, Cindy Oudshoorn and Edward Reekers (former Kayak) perform as guest vocalists. (MH)more
