In his spare time Dave Grohl (ex-Nirvana) plays drums with befriended rock bands such as Queens Of The Stone Age, but he still considers his own band Foo Fighters to be his main activity. … in hand with heavy guitar riffs and memorable melodies. While the songs of his former band member Kurt Cobain had a haunted undertone, Grohl's creations generally have a lighter character. That lack of urgency means that the music seldom reaches for the throat immediately.
