The release of the first album in six years by the Antwerp group dEUS was accompanied by many candid interviews with leader Tom Barman. He couldn't get enough of it to tell about the betrayal of his ex-band members (two got on it) and his own artistic impasse during the recording. But he was victorious and new, skilled members were recruited, including guitar hero Mauro Pawlowski. Pocket Revolution
… is called the end-good-all-good product and was mainly received in the media in a 'he did it again' tone. Who still dares to question that, such as what remains when you play the many filler layers of guitars from the songs, chipped away keyboards and other sound effects? Bartender puts a lot of depth in his voice but what does he really have to say? This record is only recommended to fans of Belgian, pseudo-profound dinosaur rock. This special version of Pocket Revolution features the extra CD Pocket Revolution Burnt - The Jagz Kooner Excursions, special versions by Jagz Kooner, a British producer. (MR)more
