… 2019. The best songs from this were revised and remixed by Gilmour and drummer . But Pink Floyd was mainly a live band during that period. Unreleased recordings of a performance at the British Knebworth festival in 1990 are therefore the big treat. The Later Years 1987 - 2019 is the excerpt from a bulky box set. With a perfect sound and a lot of timeless, dreamy space rock such as only they could make, it shows why Pink Floyd managed to grow into perhaps the greatest rock bands in the world in those later years.
