Originally Israeli singer Noa grew up in New York from the age of three, only to return to her homeland in adulthood. In her work she has since been looking for her own identity, somewhere between America and Israel. She has been working closely with her permanent musical partner Gil Dor for many years. … that sums up her inner culture struggle. The starting point was to edit the old Hebrew and Yemeni songs of Noa's grandmother. A number of them also ended up on the record.
